The Ancient Egyptians preserved their pets and sacred animals for over 3000 years, now it is our turn to protect them for another few millennia. Mummies are fragile. Removed from their desert environment they deteriorate, fall prey to insects, disintegrate and turn to dust. The need to be properly conserved and stored in a climate controlled environment.
